Common Kidney Conditions

At our clinic, under the expert guidance of our Interventional Nephrologist, we specialise in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of kidney conditions. Our approach combines cutting-edge techniques with personalised care to address each patient's unique needs. Below, we outline some of the common kidney conditions we encounter and treat:
  • Blood in Urine (Hematuria) : Hematuria, or blood in the urine, can be a sign of various kidney conditions, ranging from benign to serious. It’s essential to determine the cause, which may include kidney stones, infections, or more severe conditions like kidney cancer or glomerulonephritis. Our clinic uses advanced diagnostic tools to identify the underlying issue and provide targeted treatment options.
  • Hypertension :High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a leading cause of kidney disease and failure. Managing blood pressure is crucial for maintaining kidney health. Our clinic offers comprehensive care plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and regular monitoring, to keep your blood pressure in check and protect your kidneys.
  • Kidney infection :Kidney infections, a type of urinary tract infection that reaches the kidneys, can cause significant discomfort and lead to more severe complications if left untreated. Symptoms include fever, back pain, and nausea. Our clinic provides prompt, effective treatments to eradicate the infection and prevent recurrence, ensuring your kidneys remain healthy.
  • Urinary Tract Infection :UTIs are common infections that affect the bladder and, if not treated timely, can spread to the kidneys. Our approach to UTI management includes accurate diagnosis, effective antibiotic treatments, and strategies to prevent future infections, focusing on both immediate relief and long-term wellness.
  • Protein in Urine :The presence of an abnormal amount of protein in the urine, known as proteinuria, can be an early sign of kidney damage. Our clinic offers comprehensive evaluations to determine the cause of proteinuria and implements treatment plans aimed at protecting your kidney function and preventing further damage.
  • Kidney Failure :Kidney failure, or end-stage renal disease, occurs when the kidneys can no longer perform their vital functions. Our clinic specialises in both the management of chronic kidney failure and the provision of advanced treatments, including dialysis and support for patients awaiting kidney transplants. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for patients facing kidney failure.

At our clinic, we are dedicated to providing compassionate specialist care for patients with these and other kidney-related conditions. Our team, led by our experienced Interventional Nephrologist, is here to support you through diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing kidney health management.
